The Company operates as a Public Company and is therefore guided in its day-to-day business by the Company Law prevalent in Mauritius (The Companies Act No. 15 of 2001).

The Company is under the aegis of the Ministry of Finance and the major decision is taken by a Board composed of eight (8) Non Executive Directors appointed by the Share Holders at its annual general meeting.

The Company holds its registered office at La Tour Koenig, Pointe Aux Sables. It is headed by A Chief Executive Officer with two groups of staff. Managerial staff and some field staff are located at the Office at La Tour Koenig whilst the majority of the Field staff and employees, are working at SLDC (Highlands) based on site.
